Senator Chris Smith has served the full term limit as a distinguished career politician in both the Florida State House of Representatives and Florida State Senate, working and serving from 1998-2016.
Chris Smith grew up in Broward County. As a politician, he fought for education dollars to get into the local community.

Over the years, he saw a lack of affordable houses, and sees lots of opportunities to build houses. He has demonstrated his ability to work with Democrats and Republicans to get stuff done.
Chris Smith sees opportunities in improving transportation, for example with traffic light synchronization. He envisions a small business incubator can be established to promote economic security.
